The grapes for Lluerna were picked by hand and earlier than typical harvest dates, to keep the variety’s crisp acidity and low sugars. This has resulted in a truly refreshing wine, full of citrus and floral notes, and subtle herbal undertones.
Fermented with indigenous yeasts and left in tanks for 4 months, it was blended with 10% of Xarel-lo’s previous vintage, matured for 12 months in small French oak barrels.
