Cesanese – an ancient grape variety that calls Lazio it’s home. Medium bodied, deep deep ruby in colour. Red fruits and flinty on the nose, juicy mineral and smokey on the palate with a subtle hint of white pepper and thyme. Clean finish, just right tannin and zippy acitdity. From Marine sediment rich and volcanic soils, this wine is a true reflection of it’s terroir! Perfectly paired with our toasties (naturally), beef cheeks and wet polenta, sausages and lentils, duck and blackberries…you get the picture!
