Stoke Red is an apple of exceptional qualities which makes a fine single variety cider. The apples for this cider came from a from a beautiful old orchard in Ditcheat. This has a savoury, structured character with tension in balance of tannin, acid and sugar.  Drink with cured meats or smoked fish. The aromas are of stone fruit, some minerality, a slight herbaceous note. This is one of a pair of single variety Stoke Reds made by Wilding Cider in 2020 from two different terroirs.
